A good bad movie is like popcorn for the soul!

Given the plethora of remakes and re-imaginings of classic 80's cheese going on right now, which one would you like to star in?

I think I would like to star in a re-do of DEATHSTALKER.

I would be the the big, burly guy in the dungeon that tortures women for fun, then gets thrown into the alligator pit by
Deathstalker and the leading lady somewhere in the third act.

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

Wait a minute, indy: You ask what remake we'd like to star in, and then you choose a supporting role for yourself? What's up with that?

My only movie aspiration is to be riddled with machine gun fire in slow motion, so almost any role in a remake of Commando would allow me that.  TeddyR

If I were going to star in a remake, I might well choose the role of Sam Hell in Hell Comes to Frogtown. I mean, who wouldn't want the part where your whole government-sanctioned place in society is to repopulate the Earth (and kill mutant frogs along the way)?  TongueOut

It would have to be as a scientist in a sci-fi B-movie. Maybe a Frank Gerstle role not that I'd be anywhere near as good as him. Realistically perhaps a lesser Victor Buono role.

Joe, from Horrors Of Spider Island...
Shows up as a cynical loser, Then exits as the hero who saves a bunch horny (and grateful) showgirls, with a mother load of uranium that he no longer has to share with his two business partners.

Maybe an extra in some insane movies like the Miracle Fighters. I like the idea of appearing in a movie clearly but for something short and funny.

Classic example: the main hero found the building with the bad guy and I am playing the doorman. He knocks I open the door while asking "Hi, who are..." I recognize him, try to give alarm and get punched/kicked/flamed...

I'd like to do a movie shot entirely from inside the office of a stereotypical disaster movie mayor, who's already having a bad day, now has to deal with all sorts of scientists storming into his office demanding he shut down the pipeline, cancel the parade, rope off the fishin' rodeo, etc. due to monsters & earthquakes & whatnot...

However, The mayor would be all to happy to oblige, considering he already shut down all that stuff do to budgeting & permit issues.

So he has a good chuckle as he watches television coverage of protesters from out of town get it when the movie's big climax hits.

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty
But it would be in name only
It would really be a remake of The Projectionist

My commute to & from work could cover Mad Max, Convoy, Smokey And The Bandit, Days Of Thunder...
When I stand at the soundboard at WRIR's main studio, I feel like Captain Of The Enterprise!

So many heroes I could be.............
