Are you a classic FANBOY?

I'm 55 years old. I have a wife and 2 kids from my 1st wife. I have been called a FANBOY by folks-what is that? I have collected horror movie mags since the early 70's,I live and breath old horror films. I also have 2 children,and have had 3 wives. What-no WHY-! is the "geek" idea still around?
Are you a geek? Is your life revolved around-and impedes-your social life? I have ALWAYS been a geek-BUT that was always a plus with girls-I can f**k  around if I want.
I get laid-or I did   (yeah)-Im with Tiana. If I wanna get laid-I can. And I'm 5'2" and weird looking.

Ok....How has yer fanboy life affected yer life.
And-dont tell me yer not a fanboy-because yer f**king reading this,man.

I'm not even sure I know what that means anymore.  I mean, sure, I read the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy through over 40 times and wrote notes to my girlfriend in Sindarin, but who hasn't? 
Just because I've listened to the HAMILTON soundtrack over 50 times and memorized all the songs - a FANBOY?

I'm insulted!!

I've been a heavy metal fanboy since I was in my pre-teens. Occasionally I get people who are surprised to hear that and ask "You still listen to that stuff at YOUR age?" -- I'm like "Sorry, I didn't get the memo that said I had to start wearing Cardigans and listening to Dave Matthews Band when I turned 30." :D

My 9 year old son is developing an interest in comic books lately, which I loved when I was growing up, so that means I'm getting dragged back into THAT fanboy world too!

Occasionally I get people who are surprised to hear that and ask "You still listen to that stuff at YOUR age?" -- I'm like "Sorry, I didn't get the memo that said I had to start wearing Cardigans and listening to Dave Matthews Band when I turned 30." :D

My 9 year old son is developing an interest in comic books lately, which I loved when I was growing up, so that means I'm getting dragged back into THAT fanboy world too!

My son Eddie-who is 22-is bigtime into the Marvel Universe movie-is amazed about my knowledge of comic book history-cuz when I was kid-in the 70's-Jack Kirby had a run with Cap and Falcon! I still have every issue. Or "did". I gave all my old comics-hundreds-to him. I don't need them no more. I'm happy he's a geek-not like me...I still have my old Famous Monsters and Castle of Frankenstiens! I know they are worth money.But it was never about money. It IS about LOVE.  I AM A GEEK.

About Heavy Metal-
I love it as well-I LOVE Slayer. And when my kids-who are in their 20's,say "How can you listen to that s**t"? It's like the reverse of the normal universe.
