You might enjoy a novel from the 1970's entitled THE TRIAL OF ADOLF HITLER by Philippe von Rjndt. I read it in high school and it made a deep impression.

It makes not an iota of effort to explain how an impossibly healthy and fit hitler simply drops out of the sky over the site of the old bunker in modern germany. That's an intentional refference to how inexplicable it is for Nazism to be rising in germany today.
