It seems that sparkleman has worked very hard to distance himself from the screaming fanglut of Twilight, and rightly so. I was disappointed with the choice at first, but I'll now reserve judgement to see how it goes.

There have been a lot of choices for superhero movies that have made me think WTF? but they've worked for the most part. So yeah, I agree and will withhold judgement until I see the result.

People hated Keaton back when he was announced and he's been the best Batman we've ever had (or second best depending on how you want to count West.)

I won't hold Twilight against the guy either.  He hated it and openly mocked it too.
