As I see what other vampire films have been listed I'm remembering that I saw most of them.

I see Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) listed.

That's one I ended up ejecting. Keanu Reeves was woefully miscast as Harker. He singlehandedly made me lost all interest in the rest of the film. I can't remember where in the film I gave up, but I never saw Anthony Hopkins on screen.

I loved VAMPIRE'S KISS and it kinda p**ses me off that a lot of people consider it an "unintentional comedy" just because it has Nick Cage and the "You don't say?" meme came from that movie. It seems that nobody understood that the movie is very much aware of its own dark humor.

Here's my favorite scene by far:

the FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS is also a favorite. I love when they pull the cross on the Jewish vampire and he says-"Boy, do you have the wrong vampire!"

Sooooo, anyone going to say "twilight"?

(Runs laughing maniacally while screams and shouts of outrage erupt....   TeddyR)

(Also hoping RCmerchant doesn't have a stroke.)

(Seriously I just imagined someone dropping a twilight ref into a discussion of good vampire movies and the explosive outrage that would ensue. Yeah I hare it too.)
