I just saw that costco outdid Walmart in sales. I have no costco in my area.  Does anyone here shop at costco and if so what do you think of it?

I like it. Costco sells stuff in bulk so you don't have to go there every week for supplies. I'm surprised that it had more sales than Walmart, but hey, it is what it is.

Well a recent report I glanced out said that costco was expanding its  sales and profits faster than Walmart for the first time. It's  not outselling  it,  but it is apparently  growing slightly faster than Walmart  now.

I shop at Costco fairly regularly.  Having a family of six makes buying certain things in bulk helpful.

Asides from buying in bulk is it worth going to?

Depends. On one hand Costco has quality stuff, but it's a membership like Sam's Club. Buying in bulk is the way to go, but it comes with a price. Walmart, by contrast, is free, but has lower quality stuff there I found.

I’ve been a member since 2012. It’s great.  We don’t have any local ones where I live but I get to towns that have them often enough and visit the Costcos.  It’s great for getting stuff in bulk. Not just food but over things as well.

The prices are good, and they have most of what you'll want.  But the main purpose is to buy in larger quantities to save money.

A person with a membership can bring in two people without one and do some shopping.

I put my mom on my membership as an authorized user so she can make Costco runs. A lot of times if I think of it I ask my mom and my brother if there’s anything they need when I visit the Co of Cost.
