On a whim I decided for dad the dawrth Vader comic series which is supposedly canon.

A lot of people doubted vader's redemption  at the end of return of the Jedi.

Even more doubted it after revenge of the sith.  I could forgive him massacring the tusken, after what they did to him mother. What he did to the Jedi children was past any limit.

But if you've just seen the movies, you have nnoooooo idea just how unacceptable vader's redemption at the end of rotj was.

The xxxx he did in the comics shouidl have gotten him sent straight to double secret force hell!

Even more mass murder,  plus he had  a chance to change his history and didn't, he had a chance ce to chance his past knowing  why would happen and chose to become what he was again.

If the comics are canon, then force heaven must have some pretty low standards. Hell, Vader might have a place just up the street from hitler's.

Simple, Star Wars galaxy Jesus paid the price for Vader's sins, from whacking the junior Jedi, to eating meat on Fridays, the whole schmiel was absolved, ergo Vader died blameless and zoomed to Force Heaven with Billy Dee and Chewbacca's rabbi. It's really not complicated if you think about it.
