watched this yesterday. with a name like that it could only be bad, and it is.. but fun bad. totally insane plot that makes no sense. one of my favourite aspects was the numerous fight sequences between dogs and grown men that inexplicably have sounds of women screaming dubbed on top?

a complete hamfest. 4 bones out of 5

No, that was MONSTER DOG. I have DRACULA'S  DOG on DVD (under the title ZOLTAN, HOUND OF DRACULA).

ok then let's throw this open to any other crappy dog flicks

C.H.O.M.P.S (1979)

this could described as a 'sci-fi comedy', but that would be severely stretching it in both cases...

CUJO! Yet another film ruined almost single-handedly by some annoying kid. In this movie's case, the annoying kid from that annoying Who's The Boss? TV show.

Play Dead (1983) - Great bad movie, and the only Dog-slasher I know of. Yvonne De Carlo gives a deliciously bad performance. Recommended.

Dogs (1976) - For what it is worth, I thought this one was actually scary.

Rottweiler (2004) - Remake of a 1976 flick. This one is dull and boring, sad to say.

that's all well and good, but can he chew through £2000 worth of brand new sofa while you're at work then badly feign innocence when you walk through the door?

just watched PLAY DEAD (found a region 2 spanish dvd with english audio option). good fun! kinda slow and not gory but I liked the hammy-ness, especially Yvone de Carlo's performance

top line:

"of course you're after my money. It's only natural. And you're a very natural boy."
