Delirious (John Candy)

I just watched this movie. 

Where John Candy plays a guy that writes for a daytime soap opera and ends up waking up INSIDE the show he writes after an accident.  Then he finds out he can actually control the world with his typewriter. 

It's actually a really funny movie, playing off the cliches of soap operas dialed up a few notches and often has the actors purposely acting bad to better get that soap opera feel.  It also plays around with him adding in details from his own life such as the evil rich millionaire dropping everything he's doing for the cable guy that's shows up.   

Somehow I'd forgotten just how charming John Candy could be. 

Plus if you've ever wanted to see John Candy as an action hero, or come to somebody's rescue on horseback, this movie is for you.

a favorite of mine i have loved this movie since (1991) when it 1st came out
