So to avoid confusion with any other properties called The Avengers, the first Avengers movie got this title in the UK...

BLOOD OF DRACULA (1957) was known as BLOOD IS MY HERITAGE in the UK.
Which makes more sense, being the name 'Dracula' was never used in the film whatsoever.

Made in the UK, MOTHER RILEY MEETS THE VAMPIRE (1952) was released in the US as VAMPIRE OVER LONDON and then re-released in 1963 as MY SON THE VAMPIRE with a snappy theme song by Alan Sherman! It also went under the title as simply the VAMPIRE.

The 1957 British film NIGHT OF THE DEMON was released stateside as CURSE OF THE DEMON.  BTW, a great film - a rare instance where I approve of the changes the producer wanted but the director hated!  Better because we do get a good look at the DEMON by the end...  Thumbup

ZOMBIE (1971) was changed to I EAT YOUR SKIN so it could play on a double bill with I DRINK YOUR BLOOD.

the FUN HOUSE (1973) was re-released in 1976 as LAST HOUSE ON DEAD END STREET.

Is it me, or does lead actor/director Roger Watkins look like Bill Hader?

With ALEX D'ARCY !   TeddyR Lookingup

I bought THE HORRORS OF SPIDER ISLAND which was the second time a DVD from Amazon didn't work and I wasn't quick enough to complain.   Lookingup  It easily took me a year or more to try to play it.  If I remember right, that's a favorite of yours.

GUN CRAZY (1950) is a.k.a. DEADLY IS THE FEMALE
