The sleep of reasoner breeds monsters. (sic)

No, this isn't a political thread, it's a space to recommend products with which you have positive personal experiences and share your thoughts on them in case others might like them too.

For instance about a month ago my husband bought me a Manta Sleep mask (under thirty dollars US), and it actually does block out all light, exactly as advertised, mainly because of its design, which has two foam cups inside that completely surround your eyes and make it totally dark.

I rarely wear the mask for sleep but have been using it in a sort of memory game/trust-the-Force exercise, in which I put it on so I can't see anything, and then try to walk home blindly through of the woods by memory and instinct. The mask is also well padded, which is a plus for the times i don't remember whether a tree was to the right or left.

Good product!

Scottvest - I've taken them on several of my overseas trips.  The vests are loaded down with pockets so you can carry so much in the pockets instead of having to keep them in carryon luggage.  They were great on flights because I was able to put a lot of the stuff I needed into pockets - cords, iDevices, medication, etc - and have it right there instead of having to disturb my seat neighbors to go open the overhead bin and get stuff out.  They have loops in the collar for headphones so while everyone else had to wear wireless speakers and headphones the tour guides used on a lanyard I put mine in one of my pockets and had the cord strung along the collar.  Worked so much better than the lanyard.

SONGMICS Metal Folding Luggage Rack Black URLR64B - This is a luggage rack similar to what you find in hotel rooms that you can set suitcases on.  It makes packing for trips so much easier since i can put my suitcase on there and pack as I have time.

Fitbit Ankle Bracelet I don't care what Fitbit says, I think ankle bracelets do a much better job of recording steps in a day then wearing it around a wrist or in a pocket.  These ankle straps for the charge 3 adn 4 are adjustable and allow a person's heart rate to be picked up by the Fitbit.  I've been using ankle straps ever since the time I pushed a cart around Target and found it only recorded 200 steps when I knew I had at least walked a couple thousand steps.
