For me- winter. I always liked winter. I wish we had blizzards like we usta have before global warming. We had snow drifts that would cover a car easy. Now it's mostly cold and wet.  Bluesad
I like fall, because it's beautiful. I like spring too, because it is also lovely. I hate sumer. Too f**king hot and muggy around all these lakes and swamps in SW Michigan. Mosquito's, ticks, have to mow the fvcking grass unless I wanna blight warning (cuz I live in town. One mile out of town folks got junk cars and s**t all over the yard.)

Summer. It's the only time I don't have to run the space heater constantly. I don't feel comfortable until the high is at least 80 F (even then, mornings can be chilly). Of course, I grew up in south Texas and spent ten years in Vegas, where 110 F did not bother me much.

Autumn. The weather is cool, the evenings are long and I can run through piles of crunchy leaves.

Autumn was my favorite my whole life.  You evoke fond memories.
These days, though, I look forward to Spring.
I kind of hate winter, but it's been warm and beautiful here in NJ for weeks!  I love snow...on a xmas card.  Today has to be 65 degrees.   Thumbup

Winter is by far my favorite. Every season has good and bad, but I could take winter six months out of the year. Like I said, every season has things I like and dislike, but I could skip summer without missing it that much. I think I have cold climate DNA. Sixty degree summers in Eire were fine by me when I'd go over as a kid, then I'd come home and baste in 90s and high humidity. Misery. And worse nowadays.

But you know, across my life every season was my favorite at one time or another.

Last year we had an unusual cold and wet September which I enjoyed, followed by a too warm October, which I hate. November was cold. Half of December was cold, then warm. We used to get our first snow by the end of November but those days are long gone. Now its only one week of snow if we are lucky.

Autumn and Winter are my favorite seasons, always has been. Not much a fan of Spring because it is a dreadful reminder that Summer is right around the corner.
The only thing I like about Summer are thunderstorms. We had a few last year but still not enough.

^ Summer storms. I sit in them. I have an old carport thing in my yard. Just an aluminum roof on pools.
It's great to sit under there in a lawn chair and watch the storm roll in.

Summer.  I like to wear shorts.  The smell of cut grass on my lawn is lovely!  Painting the fence, staining the deck, mowing, or draining/cleaning the hot tub are summer chores I don't mind (unless it's barbarically hot).

That is my issue with summer. We rarely get mild summers anymore, the standard here is about 86F and up. It's like stepping into a frying pan placed in a hot oven. My heat tolerance is about 77F. Anything above and I start to malfunction. Last year it wasn't uncommon to shower 4-5 times a day because of sweating, and no sleep because of the night heat. Constantly sweating, and drinking something like 130 oz of liquids each day. Forced to do grocery shopping in the early morning hours to avoid the heat.

Years ago we would get 2-3 thunderstorms each week which was nice as it cooled things down for a bit. Nowadays we get maybe one rain/storm each month, or none at all.

So yeah, Summer is my least favorite season. I loved it when I was a kid but back than we didn't have the brutal heat as we do now.

Someday Germans will discover air conditioning. It's standard in 90% of homes in the US (close to 100% in the south). Japan and China, too. Air conditioning is weirdly uncommon in Europe, but I've heard stories that it's especially rare in Germany.

Summer.  I like sitting out in the warm weather, playing some music, having a six-pack on ice.  Going to the Jersey Shore, enjoying the beaches.  Hitting Citizens Bank Park and seeing the Phillies. Going into Philly with friends, seeing some outdoor concerts, etc.
