Private messages.

It is not possible to block anyone from sending private messages. 
This is a public forum, each member should keep their words for the forum. 
I prefer not to receive insulting messages, like this one today: 

"Oh, hey, some long-windedness, because I know you'll read it all. Lol

I find people without sex lives are often bitter, so I make allowances for you. I guess I struck a nerve that day when I finally told you how boring I find you, and you couldn't keep it in anymore, but honestly, if you were going to try to hit me back tit for tat (you do remember tit, right?), couldn't you have done it without showing everyone how you read my every post, every karma, listen to every song? That makes you seem pitiful in your obsession. (You wouldn't believe the private messages I get laughing about you.... Someone the other day said he's trying to match your grouchiness to some old man hormone cycle.)

You know, I've extended an olive branch to you in the past, ignored you til I felt bad and gave you another chance. Are you just too bitter to let things go and co-exist? You know, you roll the dice enough you eventually get lucky, so I'm sure one day you will stumble onto something and make me mad and, well, I'll have to do something about you, but I'd rather not get to that.

Let things go, John, be happy, ignore me and I'll return the favor. WWJD, right? Or Pope Francis? Or someone whose balls aren't chronically backed up?

Answer: they'd be more pleasant in life, less a grouchy old man. I guess if you can't get c**t you be one, huh?

Unwarranted, such message had been preceded by 3 others of comparable ilk, yet more insulting.  No response to these was sent by me.  My honesty towards a friend on this forum who asked about sex has been weaponized against me, shamelessly.  Insults may be heaped on me at this forum, it wouldn't be the first time, but the members should know what they are dealing with, apparently an insecure, self-absorbed bully.  I will post those others as well if the messages don't stop.

You can block private messages by going to your profile, then under "Modify Profile", click on Personal Message Options.

There will be a block box where you need to write in the name(s) of people you don't want any private messages from.

You can't pick fights and not expect to get something said back eventually, John. I've tried in the past to make peace with you, tried to ignore you, even defended you. I offered to leave you alone many times if you'd leave me alone. Now you act aggrieved that I responded at last. You're a bully, a grouch, an old whiny jerk, and a crybaby who apparently can dish it out but not take it. At least I went after you in private but I'm glad everyone can see what I think of you. Go have a good cry and bully someone else.

Well at least I got her to own it.   ER has always responded on the forum unless she must've realized she made no sense, though her characterizations are dishonest.  She cannot resist, nor can she sit still for anyone asking for clarification or doubting her veracity.  This time it started with her remark about the "classic rock era" which I had asked her to define.  She evaded answer and ignored others asking the same. 

Highlighting the foulest part of your latest message is not hypocritical or dishonest.   We have peace as long as you do not respond to me on the public forum with insults and no private messages.  She does not like being questioned or disagreed with. 
I urge anyone to cite examples from the forum of abuse from me directed at ER.

I think you are funny, really, a man picks fights for ages with a woman and then blubbers when he finally gets hit back.
