A good bad movie is like popcorn for the soul!

Wow, that would be a long list . . .
I'm grateful for my wife and kids, of course.
For my best friend, whom I can literally tell anything and everything about the best and worst of me.
My job, which is a daily source of joy.
For the gift of life.

Also:

Owning a house.

Being retired in my early forties.

Having three beautiful children.

Being married to someone who honestly gets me and sees both the best in me and the truth of my flaws, but still loves me.

I'm grateful for forgiveness, for happiness, for laughter, for trees, for love, for good genes, and for good friends.

I'm grateful to have lived in an era of relative peace, so far.

I'm glad I had a chance to work a job that I believe did good in this world.

I'm grateful to live in the greatest country that's ever existed.

I'm grateful for having had a chance to know my soul mate, however briefly.

I'm grateful for dogs and for sunrises and sunsets.

And I'm grateful for having lived one amazing life.

Gee, thanx. I feel all mushy. (mostly cuz I'm doing a wake and bake. In American lingo that means smoking pot first thing in the morn'.)
I spent the night with my son Jed, his wife Tonya, and my 4 year old grandson Theo.
I consider my crazy old ass very, very, lucky.

there are far too many things to list...

i'm grateful for my sister being alive and slowly getting to where her body is becoming her own again.
i'm grateful to have amazing friends who helped us get a car after 3 years without one, and i'm  for the friends who played chauffeur for us all that time!

i'm grateful for our little apartment, and especially for having THE best landlords in kansas!

i'm grateful for sisters herndon veterinary clinic, because of them  my little kitty girl isn't in pain and she ought to make it to 20 if we're lucky, she's coming up on 16.

I'm grateful to talk to my brother Glenn today. The Nazi guy?
He ended up homeless and on meth- at 58 years old. He went cold turkey and went to the hospital. He was diagnosed as shizophrenic, and they said he likely was most of his life. He's on meds now- and I can talk to him like we used to talk. I about cried.
Oh yeah- he aint a Nazi no more. Drugs almost killed him, just like it did Richie.
