The potential horror sequel is being explored 14 years later. Ghost House Pictures is "trying to come up with a story" for Drag Me to Hell 2, according to director Sam Raimi. Raimi revealed his production company was ideating a Drag Me to Hell sequel during a recent Reddit AMA (via Collider).

Hopefully this will happen. I do enjoy the first one very much.
