I've been wanting to see this one since I first heard it was being made. Loosely based on The Strange Case of Charles Dexter Ward and starring Barbera Crampton and Heather Graham (both of whom both still look hot). It wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting and Graham especially puts in a better performance than I was expecting (I thought I was in for more Stuart Gordon-esque movie. There is some gore and some boobs, but not as much as he put in his versions of Lovecraft's work). It isn't as good as The Void, or In The Mouth of Madness, but if you like those kinds of movies I'd say it is worth a watch.
