So, how about another list?  Audiences mostly root for the good guy, and villains are despised.  However, there are some villains that can be applauded for being interesting, conflicted, and tragic.  When a film can force the audience to have compassion for a villain, it is usually a sign of great filmmaking.  One of the best villains I've ever seen, and I am sure most people will agree with me on this one, would be Schwarzenegger's nemesis Predator.  Then, sigh, there are the rest of the villains.  These villains are not just cruel and dislikeable, they are absolutely ridiculous!  These are the villains that are so laughable, so unbelievably stupid,  that they often appear difficult to watch.  So, number 1 being the bottom of the barrel, my list for the Top 10 Worst Movie Villains:

1. The Overlord from "Yor, The Hunter From The Future"
2. The Neon Maniacs from "Neon Maniacs"
3. Redneck Zombies from "Redneck Zombies"
4. Krankor from "Prince of Space"
5. Kalgon from "Space Mutiny"
6. Great U-Cunn from "Yor, The Hunter From The Future"
7. Commander Toty from "Return to Frogtown"
8. Jeremy Irons as Profion from "Dungeons and Dragons"
9. Raul Julia as Major Bison from "Street Fighter"
10. Reptilicus from "Reptilicus"

I am positive that there are worse movie villains out there in the movie sphere.  So, what do all of you think?

Krankor. They replayed "Prince of Space" on MST today. Gotta admit, love the laugh.
....Reptilicus? Is a monster a "Villain"? Dosen't a Villain have to be an "Intelligant" being? Just curious.Humm...could Orga count, then?

I don't think so.  A villain is any being that causes trouble for a protagonist in a story.  So, I suppose Reptilicus would fall into this category.  Although, you do have a point, my friend.  Reptilicus is a large lumbering killer reptile, so maybe it is not entirely conscious of what it is doing to Copenhagen and simply feels that it is defending itself.  Hmmm....Good question!  I commend you!

I don't really consider the big monsters to be villains.  Big monsters don't really work in a hero/villain sense, in that we don't really care about the humans fighting against the monster.  We just want to see the monster.

That being said, I vote for the Killer Shrews.
