Man, I just checked out the Forsaken, bad story, bad acting, bad vampire blow ups, GREAT B movie. I want to check out the movie the Frogs- catch phrase- "first the Pond, than  the world" I didnt know ponds were essential to world domination! Well if any of you have opinions on that let me know.
Speaking of which, I have had frog legs, and rattlesnake, but most fearsome i think is a food called scrapple (failed spam). I havent tried it because I keep kosher, but the thought scares the hell out of me.
Also, a moment of silence for Stephen King who has retired, the maker of excellent novels (Cujo, Salem's Lot, Carrie, The Stand), many great B movies (Salem's Lot, Children of the Corn) and even a few good movies (Green Mile, Shawshank redemption) I love the children of the corn series, what about you guys?

The Forsaken was bad in a fun way, and was one of the approximately forty horror road movies released last year.

King was a great author, but was it even possible for him to write heroes that weren't alcoholic writers? There have been other good King adaptions, like The Dark Half, Stand By Me and The Shining.

Funny you should mention that. I spent yesterday evening preparing a pot of kosher vegetable soup for my fiancee (a minister), because she is having a dinner meeting with an orthodox rabbi tonight. If they'd invited a priest as well, it would have the makings of a good joke :)

I did the best I could with the guidelines I was given. Man, it takes a lot of veggies to flavour a stock when you can't throw in any bones. And I had to go online a couple of times to look up seasonings and such, to be sure there was no problem with anything I wanted to throw in. Soup turned out pretty good though. Hope there's some left over.
