wasted some time this week and finally saw Cosby's famous turkey (in which he rides a flying ostrich). also watched "the wraith" starring charlie sheen w/randy quaid and clint howard (with a don king hairdo)...

Leonard Part 6 - 1987 (PG). (VHS) Directed by Paul Weiland. Bill Cosby stars as Agent Leonard Parker. Parker's first five adventures were "confiscated in the interest of world security" (How true, how true.) Parker returns from retirement when the evil International Tuna company develops an orb enabling the human control of animals. The "highlight" of this flick is seeing a gaggle of frogs repeatedly lifting a car via the hopping method; but,  before this mess is through, you'll also witness Cosby fighting lobsters with melted butter, riding a flying ostrich, plucking chicken people, and battling vegetarians with exploding hamburger. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The Wraith - 1986 (PG-13). (VHS) Written and directed by Mike Marvin. Starring Charlie Sheen. Also includes Randy Quaid as the sherrif and Clint Howard(!) as Rughead. A disappearing supernatural-style UFO car and it's mysterious spaceman driver avenge the death of an innocent man. One by one the spaceman eliminates members of a psychopathic and slightly Troma-esque drag racing gang. Soundtrack includes 80s hits by Ozzy, Billy Idol, and Motley Crue. RECOMMENDED for fans of 80s supernatural sci-fi drag racing flicks.

I was thinking the same thing.  I liked it because it was so silly and made no sense.

Leonard Part VI (or LP6 as it would have been known if it had been made a decade later) was pretty funny in the "laughing at" sense.  But I can see how the concept would make sense after a 12-pak...  Only thing is that most people would have woke up the next day and tried to forget it.

i agree with several of the posts regarding LP6...there is a certain charm to it's ridiculous existence...what i wouldn't give to read cosby's thoughts from script to production...he thought it was a good idea???
