Vanessa Redgrave Pays Terrorist's Bail!

Oh man!  I don't believe it.

Actress Vanessa Redgrave actually paid a Chechen terrorist's bail today in Britain.

Russia is furious about it and for good reason!

*****  That reminds me of the play Ned and Maude Flanders put on for the kids of Springfield about the dangers of pot.  Flanders catches fire and Maude tells him to "stop-drop-and-roll."  He replies "that's for squares, baby" and startes taking a nap while on fire.  That might be the funniest Flanders bit ever.

Regarding the Chechen:  Redgrave was able to pay the bail because a British judge SET bail.  According to the article, he did this because he felt Russia's evidence against the guy was flimsy.  Having not seen the evidence, I won't comment one way or another, but if it makes you mad, you should be maddest at the judge.
