Ditto on the Star Wars prequels -- talk about completely destroying a mystique!

Star Treks 1, 5, 7, 9.  (Thinking of 1 as the sequel to the TV series).

Superman III and IV.

Didn't they do a Gone With the Wind sequel on TV a couple of years ago (I think it was called Scarlet)?  I don't even have to see it to know that's a bad idea!

For me, it's his little song: "I am the monarch of the sea...."

How about al of those shameless animated follow-ups that Disney is cranking out. Next victim of this madness-The Jungle Book.

Footloose 2:FootLESS, in which Kevin Bacon teaches amputees how to dance. Completely uncalled for.

Halloween..not only did it not deserve sequels, The original should have been dragged from the theater and beaten senseless. Oh, the horror(yeah, not in this movie, pal).

I thought the Crow 2 and whatever number they are up to now where completely awful.  Not to mention tasteless since Brandon Lee died making that movie, it should have just stayed a single movie and not a franchise of (after the 1st movie) crap.

I think that the Land Before Time should have stopped having sequels after part three.  Now I think that they are at part ten.  That's as many movies as Friday the 13th in half the time.

The bizarre thing about the Land Before Time sequels is that, for maybe ten years after the first was released, there weren't any. Then, out of the blue, they released parts 2 through 10 in the space of maybe two years. Where the hell was this demand coming from? Do our nation's children have an amazingly slow response time?

Considering it's plot was about the PAST and HISTORY of Mike, Reggie, and The Tall Man, it makes sense to use flashback footage.

How about "Thelma & Louise 2" -- you see, there was this big Acme trampoline at the bottom of the gorge...

There was no point to "Halloween 3: season of the witch"

I also never quite understood the necessity of "weekend at bernies 2"

"Grease 2"  - did it have to happen again? Apparently Frenchie spent too much time sniffing hair dye and never graduated at the age of 30

Frankly I cringe at the idea that it seems 90% of movies released in theaters these days are sequels or prequels of some sort. So much for originality, the studio has no guts
