It's too bad they're done.

I'm glad that I got to see them live.

They put on a kickass show.
Mustaine stopped the show cause 2 people spit on him.
He invited them to come up onstage so he could kick the s**t outta them.  They didn't come up.

My fav Megadeth album by far is "Youthanasia".
Whenever I tell my friends that they always shudder and say I'm wrong.
To each his own I say.
"Peace Sells" runs a close second.

I listen to just about everything.  I have some pretty strange stuff in my collection.  Everything from In Flames, Napalm Death and Strapping Young Lad to the Pogues and Mannheim Steamroller.  I'm going to see SYL, Napalm Death, Dark Tranquility, the Berzerker and Nile in January, just a short five days after B-Fest.
Everyone who can make it should come.  It's going to be one brutal-ass show.
I've noticed that most people who like b-movies are metal heads in one form or another as well.  In fact, I even wrote an article about it.
Hm...I think I'll start a new thread for favorite bands....

Yeah, Dave really was an amazing guitarist, and just embodied metal in so many ways (smart but looks stupid, changed over the years, can kick your ass without thinking twice, kickass guitars, and has been near-death so many times but NEVER DIES). Too bad about his arm.

I saw Megadeth ONCE, and they were awful. Although this was very shortly after Al Pitrelli and Jimmy DeGrasso just joined the band, so they were probably still working out the kinks.

Any thoughts on Metallica? I've only started to listen to their songs recently, and I like songs like "Enter Sandman" "One" and "For whom the bell tolls"
