The early works of Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi, natch. I also love the old-school sick horror comedies, like A Bucket of Blood and Spider Baby.

Yea, SPIDER BABY is a good film. It became on of my favorites last year. Supposedly a lost film until recently.

BUCKET OF BLOOD is also very memorable, especially when I seen it when I was about 10 years old. The cat in the wall and the sculptures I remember the most.

I think all of Cormans films can be considered true camp/horror. I just can't stand that jazzy music he had in his earlier films.

"Bucket of Blood," which I have seen and enjoyed, can also be veiwed as something of  a documentary. It supposedly is one of the more accurate portrayals of the coffee house/beat scene in L.A. during the '50's, as seen on film.

Yeah, the atmosphere was almost as good as the humor. Was the soundtrack ever released (with the poems, the folk songs, the sax solos, etc.)?

Blood Bath in the House of Death is far and away(hey that's another horror/comedy) the best horror/comedy ever made. It helps if your standards aren't high and you're nine years old, mine aren't and I was.
