"Where was all this when Billy Dee Williams played Harvey
Dent?."

I was wondering when someone was going to bring this up. In my opinion, it would have been bad ass if Billy Dee played two-face in the sequal. I was kind of p**sed that he didn't.

Harvey Dent in the first movie was a pretty inconsequential part so could've been played by almost anyone. For the third movie, they needed someone who could be maniacal and stand toe-to-toe in screen presence with Jim Carrey.  I don't think Billy Dee Willaims would've been as strong in that.     Granted, though, that's the fault of how the script established the character.  I much prefer the dark and brooding fatalistic Two Face from the cartoons and I think Williams would've done well at that., but given the story and the direction, I'm not surprised they swiched actors (but then, they switched actors for Batman so..)
