Anyone like this movie? I thought it was ok, one of the perks of the movie was seeing Mark Wahlberg's brother Donni Wahlberg from the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK fame act in the funny character of Dudits. "Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you?"

I read the book. Great book. Haven't seen the flick yet. I DID see a pic of Walburg as Dudits - He looked ok even tho Dudits was a downs syndrome kid.

I've read the book and saw the film a few days ago and as always the book is much better.  

They had to condense the hell out of the book to fit the movie into 2 hours.

And I also have to say that all the kid actors totally sucked except for the kid who played young Beaver.

Even if you've never read the book you'll sense that there should be more to the film.

Not a bad effort......but not great either.
