At the risk of further rising the Fires or Ire, I submit this link to an article found over on a similar (and for more polite) thread at www.jabootu.com.  It seems that Disney has had second thoughts over the Michael Moore 911 documentary and has pulled out.  Perhaps Charles Band might be interested?  Bush Vs Puppet Master, now that has a ring to it.  Better yet, Bush is able to harness the powers of Andre Toulon and invites Saddam and OBL over for a Puppet show!  Cue Evil Laughter.

I'm waiting for Moore to do one of his "documentaries" (yeah, in the same way pro wrestling events are "documentaries") linking George W Bush to the Brinks Robbery, the disappearances of Judge Crater and Jimmy Hoffa and to the Jonestown Massacre.
And let me point out I'm on the political left, since Moore's devotees try to pretend that only Republicans are disgusted with their rotund idol.

I like Michael Moore, but I'm kinda glad Disney dropped him. After all, I doubt even someone like Moore could be truly subversive under the eye of Der Maus. Still, I hope Moore doesn't become a studio pariah like Orson Welles or Terry Gilliam (I'm not comparing him to them, mind you, they just had similar troubles getting movies made).

I would have thought the Disney would have welcomed Michael Moore with open arms. I mean, Moore's BOWLING FOR COLLUMBINE pulled in some big bucks. Yet, I feel it's because of Disney's status: a company that produces family fluff would look like it went to the political Bush-bashing side if they would have kept Moore on.

Even so, considering that Disney is now the offical producer of crap cinema, I still would have loved to see Disney keep Moore and let him make his epic documentary.

I think Kevin Smith often insults himself as well, but I fail to see the relevence between the two.

Wait a minute.....

They are both tubby
Both have obnoxious characters in their movies (Michael Moore always playes himself, and Kevin Smith always puts Jay in his movies)

Both have some wacky facial hair.

Perhaps they are one and the same with split personality syndrome

feel free to gasp
