With a slice of my commission, I embarked to spoil myself at the local Best Buy.

In keeping with my pseudonym, I picked up the Looney Tunes box set. Whoa! Commentaries, dvd-rom extras, and just plain old anvil-droppin' fun!

I can hardly believe how good the picture quality is on these shorts! It also is a plus when I come across segments that I have either totally forgotten, or have never seen before due to the politically correct censors!

My only gripe? They don't have "The Great Piggy Bank Robbery" in the set!

Check it, this guy ^^^^^^^ is Neon Noodle!

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

Neon,

I knew that your name came from the old Looney Tunes cartoons, but couldn't picture the character until now!  Brings back memories of my childhood.  I'm sure my wife would love to own this set as she is a bit of an amature animator herself.

As for being pulled into buying things; I believe the same will happen to me tomorrow.  Going to the mall with my wife and I do believe I'm going to have to buy Unreal Tournament 2004.  Finally got broadband last night and the online play is fantastic.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

No!  I didn't realize there was a Looney Tunes box set.  No, I can't afford to buy it yet.  Must resist. . .

I saw this a Best Buy awhile ago and completely forgot about it.

Damn you!  Now I must buy it!

At least you didn't keep a scorecard in your youth for how many times a cartoon character "won" at the end of a short 8^)

It probably won't be until volume 4 that I finally get to own the Piggy Bank episode!
