UNIVERSAL SOLDIER II - Never really liked the first one except the repell along the dam and the jump in the water, but I caught this one on TV toda.  The annoying Pro Wrestler Bill Goldberg is in this one doing silly one liners like "I'm just warming up" after being engulfed in flames. This is actually the way to go for Van Damme doing a more comical character, as I never liked any of his movies. The movie itself is more comical than the first. They also had the fitness girl Kiana in this one. Way to much gunfire in this film. The implantation of the Seth things was wacky. Anything that large in the brain would kill a person I imagine.

Tried to watch it on TV, but couldn't get through the first 45'. Way too silly for me, and I've seen "The Order" and "Street Fighter".

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Try watching this at the theater(where I unfortunately saw it,and live to tell about it),for this horrible film will kill your brain as badly as it did Van Damme's theatrical career.
Otherwise, this is technically part 4 ,since those cable TV Showtime films, with the likes of Jeff Wincott,Gary Busey, and Burt Reynolds[all in supporting roles], were the first sequels, even though it's the second one for Van Damme to appear in.

Is it? I always got the impression that US2 kind of just ignored those two sequels.

Also, does it strike anyone as strange that after being a Unisol himself and them being restored to a normal person, that he would be participating in the new Unisol program? Why isn't he working to get them to try and restore other dead soldiers back to life like he was rather than using them as weapons?

I would have felt bad for paying to see this movie at tall. I seen it on cable the other day which eased the pain.

Not to mention that Jean Claude Van Damme's character proves that dead people still can return to human form, so, where are the human rights of all those revived and re-programmed soldiers? Did they ask them, after reviving them, if they wanted to be part of the UNISOL program or die again?
No wonder they rebell.
