Well, the one that immediately springs to mind is The Stepford Wives which dealt with similar themes over 20 years earlier.

If you watch that, you'll see what I mean...

Of the top of my carefully re-conditioned mind:

Strange Behavior (1981)

Zombie HIgh (1987)

There was also an episode of the new Outer Limits that was similar. The kids were being brainwashed into becoming assassins.

I thought of that one, but as I recall, the children were being replaced, not just brainwashed. I figured it was more similar to Inavsion of the Body Snatchers than Disturbing Behavior.

Yea, I just watched DISTURBING BEHAVIOR on USA today. Good film that had the feeling of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS as JohnL stated last month. The story is about mind control using human made implants instead of alien pods. Very similiar. I liked it also.

I know that it's not the same, but CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED, VILLIAGE OF THE DAMNED, and CHILDREN OF THE CORN films.

Actually FREDDY VS JASON had some of that controlled teenager town and institutionalized teens type stuff. Town trying to control memory of Freddy.

the first film that came to my mind would be the Orwell classic 1984. it's available on dvd now in a great print that brings the totalitarian-future-nightmare for other generations to enjoy. i don't know if that's what you're looking for, i've never seen Disturbing Behavior, but it's definitely about mind control.

>i've never seen Disturbing Behavior

Disturbing Behavior was more like mind control than just simple brainwashing. They used machines to 'program' the kids to be what they wanted.
