Adding, removing or changing one letter, we have:

The Giant Slaw
Nell Comes to Frogtown
Tombs of the Blind Deaf
Santa Claus Conquers the Martins
Lawn of the Dead
The Bowling
Death s**t
Megafarce
The Devil's Brain

The following two have more than one letter changed, but I like them anyway:

The Abdominal Dr. Phibes (late night infomercial)
The Lost Incontinent (looking for a bathroom, no doubt)

Death s**t made me think of two possible sequels -The Bran that Wouldn't Die, and Fibre Down Below.

I hope that the band that time forgot would be The Eagles, but it looks like I'm hoping in vain.

"The Abdominal Dr. Phibes"

Seriously, during an interview, Vincent Price said when he first heard of the project, that's what he thought was the title.

BTW, part of the creative process can be making a mistake and then running with the change.  How many of these typos might yeild a real movie?

Think about it.

Frightening, isn't it.

"Planet of the Abes"

In a spectacular twist, Marky Mark finds the Lincoln memorial exactly as it should be. However, all the cops, firemen, reporters, etc. are revealed to look like Abe Lincoln.

You're right, Apostic - it's a nightmarish thought, but I am unable to resist.

THE INCREDIBLE SMELTING MAN (Faster than a Brit steelworker)
BLOOD FAST (Vampire Ramadan)
NIGHTMARE ON ELMO STREET (It's a muppet movie anyway you look at it)
I SPIT IN YOUR (LUMPY) GRAVY (It would be an improvement on the wife's)
THE GOODFATHER (He's just a cuddly Italian patriarch)
STAR WOES (No further comment needed)

It's getting hard to remember which ones have already been done.

How about:

Barth vs. the Flying Saucers (starring Martin Mull)
Leviathon (please send us your jeans)
Brine of the Monster
Onan the Barbarian (a new twist on an infamous bible character)
Children of the Porn (not all that funny when you think about it)

It's also surprising how many animal-themed movies you can create.

The Mouse on Haunted Hill
The Monkey Pit
Iron Beagle
