I saw this one back in '89 once, sorry I don't remember more.  The army is using a new chemical to spray on weed and when they test it out on this field, they spray not only the weed, but also the farmers growing it. Of course this turns them into zombies and they go on the rampage. The best full scene that I can remember is when one the zombies is attacking someone and one of their friends come up from behind and hits them in the back of the neck with a hatchet. The zombie then turns around and opens up their mouth and all this blood just pours out. Sorry I couldn't anything remember more.

P.S. to anyone that remembers my search for the movie with the lady dancing with the snake, I've given up. After 6 emails and no reply, I got the hint.

It sounds like a review I heard at  Bad Movie Report. I'll check it again. Or maybe it was at Teleport movies, I don't know if it's still there since reviews have started disappearing. For some reason the titled sounded like it include "Grapes" in it.
