Beast Master.

"I really dug the movie... It has a nice nostalgic link to my childhood."

I feel the same way about it, as well as lots of other movies - mostly courtesy of constant play on HBO. Midnight Madness, Strange Brew, Buckaroo Banzai are all also in this category.

I think "Buckaroo Banzai" has a big cult following.

I was really annoyed when I heard that more movies were planned but Peter Wellers wanted to do "RoboCop" instead and the director of BB said they couldn't do it without Wellers

When we first got cable, Beastmaster was constantly showing on HBO.

I love Buckaroo.
It's one movie I wish they did do a sequel to.
