We're all just victims of circumstance

I just saw the ad, "How do you fight  a one hundred foot reptilian killing machine? Get a  bigger one!"

A "SciFi original"  Boa vs Python

Nothing like watching giant CG snakes battlin' to the death.  One thing it;s got going for it ,  Angel Boris in a really tight  camo tank top.

They really need to change the name of the SciFi Channel- call it the Giant Evil Fantasy Reptiles Channel.

This isn't on until May 22, which looks like big reptile day on SciFi.  This Saturday looks to be space exploration day.

I'll watch it for the same reason I always watch those movies - the really tight camo tank tops.

Actually, most of those Sci-fi channel original movies would be great B movies if they just didn't have such damned annoying characters.

I think this movie is actually from UFO Productions. They released Python 1 & 2 as well as Boa. Anyway, the plot is out of control cheese, there is supposedly a lot going for this flick including masked wrestlers.

The rule for masked wrestler movies: It may be bad... utterly shameful even, but it WILL be entertaining.

OK, so we weren't.

It looks like (for real) that there are more snakehead fish in Maryland

"Second Snakehead Found in Potomac River

By STEPHEN MANNING, Associated Press Writer

ROCKVILLE, Md. - A second northern snakehead has been caught by a fisherman in the Potomac River, Maryland officials said, a sign that the destructive alien species may have invaded the Washington area's largest river.  "

So SCi-Fi can do a sequel on its snakehead movie.   And it won't be implausible.

If the real snakehead fish can stage a comeback, I don't see why sequels wouldn't work.

That reminds me of the thread here about our wish list and suggestions for future giant attacking animal movies. I'm still holding out for the alligator gar to get a film or even giant catfish. Just imagine one of those suckers popping up on the stern of a ship and thrashing its head whipping helpless disposable characters with its poisoned whiskers.

True, but don't forget the need to mutate 'em, so they can do a "Landshark" deal. Gotta be able to come after ya on land.
Dinocrock+Snakehead+Python+boa=Cheese fest 2004!
Sci-Fi is the Bad movie lovers friend, at least. They suck a so much else!

Just watched Boa vs. Python last night.  Talk about cheese!  I loved it.  Of course, I was drinking pretty heavily at the time.  I suggest anyone else watching it do the same. ;)

Gee, Angel Boris doesn't fare too well in SciFi originals, does she?
