Ever Smoked Pot Before Watching A Movie?

I never smoked pot on a regular basis, but did try it once. Kinda weird the way things seemed to come back into focus as my friend and I were in the middle of crossing a busy street...

Never smoked pot  at all, but I did drink enough beer by the time I was 25 to float the Titanic. Actually I remember  it ruining a lot of experiences for me.  I never remember  drinking before  a movie.  In fact when I am watching a movie at a theater I never buy a drink or food  (don't want to miss anything because of that mid movie bathroom break).

Never touched the stuff- Alcohol is my intoxicant of choice, and I can state with Authority that Godzilla Movies are just hilarious when you've been spending some time with your mates and a bottle of Wild Turkey...

Last night, I got baked and watched one of my favorite movies ever, Bottle Rocket.  I always knew the funniest dialogue and lines were the quietest ones in the background and stuff, and I was able to pick up on a lot more than I ever have before.

It's really a different experience every time.... works great for things like Kids in the Hall Brain Candy and Wet Hot American Summer, it doesn't work so well for some movies.  Me and a friend went to Willard blazed out of our minds and hated every second of the movie.

I do enjoy a little bit of rum (with or without soda) with a bad movie..at home

I personally prefer weed over alcohol.Weed has simular effects as alcohol, but with out a lot of the bad side effects the alcohol has.
First I never have thrown up or passed out while smoking weed, and I can still remeber what I did the night before after getting high.Second I like the fact that it dosn't change your personality when your on it, and you can still think pretty rationally even when you are really high.
But all of that is based on my own personal experince with it.I've seen alot of my friends get both drunk and high, and after watching them I can tell there is a big difference.My friends that get high seem to generally more pleasent when toked up, rather than my friends who get s**t faced drunk and start running around and yelling at the top of there lungs, or start fights with one anouther.
Sure I know there is a risk for lung cancer, how big of a risk I'm not sure of though because every study seems to disprove the other. The biggest risk is jail and that is a big risk.Arrested for possession of marijuana is not a good thing to have on your record and losing your job or not getting a job after being tested for it sucks.
So I do smoke it, but I stay responsible and hope that will keep me out of trouble.
