This sort of goes hand in hand with my "worst performance by relatives" discussion.  Name some stars whose untalented relatives have tried to "make it big."  I'll start off with the following:

* SEAN CONNERY and his embarrassing brother NEIL CONNERY
* MARTIN SHEEN and (yikes) JOE ESTEVEZ
* BILLY WILDER and his untalented brother W. LEE WILDER
* MIA FARROW and her B-movie sister TISA FARROW (although, Tisa was actually pretty good in the movie FINGERS with Harvey Keitel)

Bruce Springsteen and Pamela Springsteen (Angela in Sleepaway Camp 3)

Here's a great page with lots of examples:

Frank Stallone was actually pretty good in the fantastic movie BARFLY.  Of course, that role didn't require much acting.  He played the bartender who was sick of Mickey Rourke's character and beat the hell out of him in the alley behind the bar.

Great movie.

Clint Eastwood and his daughter Allison (who starred in Clint's movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil").

I heard a rumor from a guy who worked as a carpenter on "Midnight..." that Eastwood and his daughter got in a huge fight one day in her trailer.  Apparently Clint was upset by the fact that his daughter was screwing around with some guy (or guys) while they were working on the movie.  It is reported that the word "whore" as well as several heavy objects were thrown inside the trailer.  Can't confirm the story and while I know the guy did actually work as a carpenter on that set, he is prone to exaggerate things.

I think there's a long line to beat the hell out of Mickey Rourke.

Not sure if the "originals" in the list are talented, but...

1) Alec Baldwin and all his brothers.

2) Chuck Norris and Aaron Norris (film director), Eric norris (actor & director).

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Did Barfly have a point at all to it's storyline?

Robert Mitchum and Chris, Jim, and John Mitchum

Michael J. Fox. and wife Tracy Pollan.

Natalie Wood and Lana Wood.

Liza Minelli (although a wack0) and half-sister Lorna Luft.

Chris Farley and his two brothers that do a bad standup version of his style of comedy. I forget their names, thy're thinner than he was but he had more hair than both of them put together.  Oh wait that falls into the category of entire family being untalented.

I have to stick up for Brian Doyle- Murray, he co-wrote "Caddyshack" and can be a decent supporting actor in comedies.

And Tisa Farrow may not be much of an actress but she sure looked good as one of John Huston's "nurses" in "Winterkills".

Yes.  But you have to watch the director's cut to understand it.  The director's cut is titled "Barf," without the "ly."
