Hallo from a newbie to this board.

I'm wondering if anyone here knows what movie this is?

All I can remember about it is it was some sort of post-apocalyptic thing, except it didn't have too much in the way of mutant beasties that hunted down the few human survivors.  What it did have was a plot where a male/female pair wandered around looking for an egg which, when they found it, shot blue light into the sky, which healed the earth(I think).  Also notable for a negative-image scene featuring a man and a woman dancing around to piano music.

I don't know what sort of movie it was trying to be, but it sounds like the sort of thing that may just be recognisable to y'all here...I hope so because it's bugging me halfway to hell and back.
