I ask this question out of sheer curiosity as any answer I would receive serves no real purpose.
I had meant to ask it awhile back but it was filed away in my memory warehouse and forgotten until it resurfaced today.

When you sit down at your computer, what exact direction do you face?

I face almost exactly due north.

What direction do you face and have you thought about this before?
Oh and be sure to include what state or part of a country you're in.

ASHTHECAT, you sure do come up with some crazy topics.  I have a laptop with wireless connection and generally face different directions depending on what seats in my house are not occupied by children, their toys, or something they spilled.

Ah....I should've taken into account wireless users.

I specifically meant stationary p.c.'s.

Even if you're a wireless laptop user, is there a direction you find yourself facing more often than not?

I don't know; I'm in Des Moines and I've only been here a month.  I don't have my usual visual references I'm used to in New Mexico so I get confused pretty easy on direction here.  Going into a building and making a couple of turns and I have no idea which way North is anymore.

Hmm, I just switched my living room around, now I face east, I had been facing west.  For tv, I face south.

Bizzare topic, but if you really want to know my computer faces west. Anouther thing to ask is which direction do you feel more comftorable sleeping in. I usually sleep pointing north.

My computer faces north.

I sleep facing south.

The feng shui of my room is totally off, too.

Sometimes when sleeping I face up. Other times facing down or to the left or right, never did it upside down with feet up and arms hanging towards the floor. I once slept behind the wheel of a van for about 10 miles.

In the 80's I use to drive taxi in Atlantic City and one of my friends told me a story about him having a fare to New York. On the way up he kept falling asleep and the customer kept having to wake him up thru trip. He kept telling the customer that he was "ok" after each shake. I can just image the terror of the customer who was paying at least $200 dollars for that ride of terror. About 90 miles.
