Got my copy at Suncoast today! Yeah, I know, they are typical ripoff artists, but when you throw in a free "Butterfly Effect" poster and a Lego figure of Jason or Freddy, that sealed my deal!

Gonna have fun going through the special features disc later.....YeeHAW!

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

I didn't.  However, against my better judgment, I probably will.

Bugger, I got mine at Target and all I got was a small insert add for Butterfly Effect (which I promptly threw away).  It did only cost me $17 with tax, though.  What was the price at Suncoast?
And speaking of Suncoast, remember when they used to f**king rule and not overcharge even more than Sam Goody?

Yeah... It seems to me they "jumped the shark" around when DVD took over for some reason. Same thing with Media Play; maybe it's just that I've gotten older, but just about all the ones near me have gone from being pretty damn cool to just really, really depressing.

Brother R:

Back in my VHS days, I did about 90% of my shopping at Suncoast.  I used to go wild when they had their 2 for $22 sales.  Plus, I had the frequent buyer card and used to get coupons and gift certificates all the time.

Now, Suncoast is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced.  Their average DVDs cost about $5 more than Best Buy and Circuit City and about $7 more than Deep Discount DVD.  Even with the frequent buyer points, you still get screwed.  Their "Midnight Movie" DVDs are $14.95, but you can buy them for about $10 everywhere else.  New releases are usually $24.95, "on sale" for $22.95.  You can find the same movies at Best Buy for $19.99 regular price, and usually on sale for $15.99 - $17.99 during the first week they are released.  If I still shopped at Suncoast, I'd be bankrupt by now.

my "sale" price was $29.99 originally, but with the "first day discount" it was $20.00. Sure I got a little ripped, but I was okay with that.....Suncoast doesn't get much of my business these days anyway.
