I don't know if anyone else here was at B-Fest this year.  Seems like lots of people ask or talk about it and aren't there.  Then again, I don't know what any but two (ASH and Andrew) of you look like, so for all I know you could be standing right behind me right now.
There's usually at least one film that's a total classic, and at least one film that actually fuses your brain cells because it's so damn bad.  This year none of the movies quite fit that category, but it was still a blast.  The closest thing to a classic was probably the porno version of Alice in Woncerland, and the closest thing to the brain-melter was probably Forbidden Dance.  H-Man had a good chance at the title for most painful, but the film broke about ten minutes in.
Also, does anyone know where to get ahold of a film can?  I snagged a copy of the actually film reel of the trailer for Hellboy last Thursday, but I don't have anything to put it in.

I've been planning to attend forever. When I came back from Bosnia at the first of the year(2003), I had plenty O' cash and time, then I took another overseas post which I quit after a few months....still plenty O' cash and ample time so I'm thinking this time..I'll F'ing well make it to B-Fest...then I  quit my federal gig and joined a local municipal police dept and I'm screwed...no time. I have the cash to make it, but I don't seem to be able to get more than 50 miles away from OKC, without getting called in to cover a shift. LIFE IS CRUEL!

Anyway, the point is...I'm trying man....I'm trying to get there. But, there's the whole trying to pay the mortgage and not get fired thing to worry about. With better planning and some luck, maybe I'll make it one  day. Or, maybe I'll just snap and go cyclic on downtown traffic at rush hour....kinda 50/50 at this point.

As regards the film can. Have you tried TupperWare? Ya know, it burps when you open it and that's how you know it's keeping everything fresh and crispy. Also it comes in a variety of colors....well actually several shades of orange. But, it's quite nice!

Everyone has potentially fatal flaws, but yours involve a love of soldiers' wives, an insatiable thirst for whiskey, and the seven weak points in your left ventricle.
