Ok it's time for me to admit my shame.
I love old variety shows, such as Sonny and Cher, Donny and Marie. etc...

Did anyone else watch the premier of the the Nick and Jessica Show on 4/11.
yes, yes I did, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.  It had lots of retro 70's goodness in it.  I was quite surprised.

Shamefully I hope this show does well.

What does everyone else think of variety shows.

Maybe Nick at Night will bring back old episodes of Pink Lady and Jeff!  I watched those shows growing up in the 70s, they were alright.  Remember, back then we only had about three channels (actually, in the NYC vicinity, we had 7!).

I didn't see the Nick & Jessica show, but I did catch their SNL stint, which was surprisingly good.  Mmmmm, Tuna of the Dirt brand Chicken.

I kept surfing by and watched whenever they weren't singing.

I am a little ashamed to admit that I found parts of it quite entertaining.  I liked the campy 70's feel and the quick skits.

I originally thought they were both "No-talent Ass clowns," but now I realize that they can be funny if they are put in the right situations.  Plus Jessica is not bad to look at.
