I was reading the post about wives liking b movies and it got me to thinking after reading the Highlander post what the first movie me and my girlfriend ever saw together.  I remember the night becasue we had gone to her place and hooked up my PS2 and watched Frailty, which I had just bought a few days earlier.  It was great and I was shocked she liked it, come to find out she likes Matt Machonahey (sp).  O well.  Now that we are officially dating she tries to take me to a chick flick everywek.   Sometimes I win out and we watch my type of movies but I have to pay for it by watching chick flicks.  Well now she has to watch MAnos with me.  muhahahahaha and maybe Ichi, Versus, and Ricki.

O right back to topic.  So what was the firstmovie you can remember watching with your Significant other.

My wife and I had mutual friends that hooked us up together.  Our first "real" date was going on a  double date with some friends to see The Haunting.  Film sucked but that was our first date.

We're all just victims of circumstance

First date with my wife we went  to a Mexican restaurant and I got salsa in my eye (ouch!).

Then we saw The Raiders of the Lost  Ark (her first time, my second) and she accused me of purposely sitting under the air conditioning vent so she would have to sit closer.  We got married five months later, this year will be our 23rd.

Top this level of sadness.
Our first movie together was "The Boy who Could Fly" (1986)
I think our second was Mannequin (1987)

It started out like that and we are still together 18 years later.

I've gotten back at her ...  She's had to watch Carnivore and Alien Encounter recently.

Depends on if it is first movie you saw as a couple or not.
First movie we saw as a couple was Hulk, the first we saw together [in a group though] was Die Another Day.

We have reasonably mixed taste in movies, I like Sci Fi, she kinda doesn't, but we both have a pretty good B-movie taste; she loves silly foriegn cheap movies like Killer Condom and such.

We spent last New Years eve watching, and laughing at Glitter.  And I'm afriad to admit that I thought it was so bad it was great entertainment!

And thus the relationship has blossomed into the embarrasing, yet still fun wreck it is today!
