URGENT: Can someone on the West coast please tape Tru Calling at 8:30pm???

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone here tape the show Tru Calling? Or can someone reading this before 8:30pm tonight (west coast time) *PLEASE* tape it for me?

Fox, in their infinite stupidity decided to air an episode of American Idol tonight at 8pm. Since AI is an hour show, I switched to something else until 9pm. I just turned it on to discover that AI was only half an hour and I've already missed half of Tru Calling.

If someone on the west coast would be so kind as to tape it for me (SP preferred), I would happily cover the cost of a tape, postage and a few bucks for your trouble. I'd be eternally grateful!

Normally, I'd wait for the repeat, but I have a feeling that I'll be lucky if Fox even plays all the existing episodes before yanking it off the air.

My husband taped it tonight- whether or not I can send it to you depends on which tape he put it on.  I'll let you know when I find out.

Thanks for the offer, but I specifically wanted the episode from the 15th. I missed it because Fox changed the schedule. I have all the rest on tape, including the most recent ones.

You sound like you really like this show JohnL.

I also find that I do kind of like it.
They come up with some pretty good scenarios each week and introducing Jason Preistley to the show was a wise choice.

I usually try to watch it every week.

Yes, but it's probably going to get cancelled. In fact, there are no repeats of it listed for the next two weeks, which means that Fox would rather play specials and repeats of other crap rather than airing repeats of tthis show. :(

And with only one season, it's unlikely to get released on video/DVD. I know Firefly was, but that came from a creator with a cult following annd had a strong fan reaction. Tru Calling has fans, but I don't think there are as many. So most likely, it will just be cancelled and the only copies outside of the network's vault will be from the people who taped it. Unfortunately, I still haven't found anyone to provide the episode from the 15th, so I'm still missing one. :(

I didn't like his joining the cast. First I hate the character. I want to see him die painfully, maybe crushed under a truck. Second, it bugs me that the show wasn;t getting good enough ratings to please Fox, so some executive said "Hey, why don't we get someone from one of our past popular shows and stick them in it? Move over Eliza, you're not good enough..."

Rule #1 never tape shows on the same vhs as the homemade sex videos...at least thats the first thing that came to mind when it was said that the tape would need to be checked first

Not so much a sex tape- more of a freeview concert tape with a bunch of concerts on it.   Trust me, the last thing I want to see is myself on video.

Thanks, I never even noticed that TV Tome had a forum. I did ask on one forum devoted to the show and got no replies at all.

BTW, still no repeats, which tells me that this show is almost certainly a goner. :(
