Just thought I'd take a boo at eBay, out of curiosity, and found both a poster and a model kit from the 1976 remake of King Kong, in separate auctions, bid up to more than $50 each, and still with days to go. Does anybody know what these might have been worth last week? Is this a reasonable price, or have those two roofs pictured under the big ape's feet become that valuable?

I expected to find something like that, but it still strikes me as strange and more than a bit morbid.
