Can't remember the title, help!

I'm looking for a movie I saw about 17 or 18 years ago.
A bunch of aliens (humans) come to earth, and they find it devastated due a nuclear war. They landed and start talking about how stupid human beings were, found some skulls, etc... I don't remember more. Any ideas? Thanks!

Not enough information i fear... can you remember any more of the film?

Lacoations? Charakter names? Important scenes?

"Planet of the Apes" was the first thing that came to my mind, but I would have thought the talking apes would have been mentioned. ;)

Well, I can't remember anymore! I think they found a lantern. And it was very dark. There was a woman.
Maybe some kind of pyramid on the cover??
