We've all seen some really god awful taglines in our time... So, what do you consider to be the worst? Are their any overused taglines you personally can't stand?

Even though I saw and immensly enjoyed "Aliens vs. Predator" I have to say that the tagline for it was horrible.
"Whoever wins....We lose"

Terrible!

From "Prototype X298"(maybe not the right title)

Half Man, Half Machine,All Killer

Man kind doesn't stand a chance.

When a movie is arrogant enough to think it deserves two tag lines you know it's gonna suck.

Two taglines? That's funny. I wonder what movie has the most taglines.

It could be one long tagline but there's a large space in between the two so it feels and looks like two tag lines.

* THE GODSEND (1980) - "For God's sake, send it back!" (which is what they should have done with the movie)

You know how many straight-to-video creature features have "Welcome to the bottom of the food chain." As their tag line.

Frankenfish from last night had it too.

ROBOC.H.I.C. had 2 very bad/very weak taglines, which supports the theory of the worse the movie the more the tag:
"She Always Gets Her Man", followed by a bunch of headshots of some of the male character-actors, and "Part Cop . . .Part Machine . . . All Woman", with a picture of Kathy Shower in the silvery Robo-suit.  Just dreadful.
* * * * *
On the flip side, I always loved the tagline for "Motel HELL":  "It Takes All Kinds of Critters to Make Farmer (something's) Fritters!".
Oh, that was great . . . my fave tagline & I space on the Farmer's name!  Rory Calhoun  .... crap!  2 syllables!!   help!!

This isn't technically a "tagline", but I thought it was funny.

There's a Lifetime movie (no, I didn't watch it) called:

BABY MONITOR: SOUND OF FEAR

Didn't the first "Ghoulies" have the tagline "They'd get you in the end" just because the of the promo material with one of the creatures popping out of the toliet? It's funny once, after that it just gets lamer and lamer. Plus the commercial for that one aired locally constantly, back when theaters still ran commercials for films on local TV.

Ya know, I've seen that film and heard that tagline and I just got it's double meaning.

The one that always comes to my mind is the tagline for The Prey:

"It's not human, and it's got an axe!"

It make's its point, for sure, but it's as if they weren't even trying. Besides, the monster was human, just badly burned. Aside from the casting of Jackie "Uncle Fester" Coogan as a forest ranger, it was a pretty lame movie all around.

My personal favorite, lame as it is, has always been the tagline for "The Lift": "Take the Stairs, Take the Stairs...For God's Sake, Take the stairs!"

The Devil's Rain is another one with two taglines, and they're both total gems:

1. "Heaven help us... When THE DEVIL'S RAIN!"

Gotta love a movie with the guts to put such a blatantly grammatical error directly above the title... Especially when they follow it up with this:

2. "Positively the most horrifying ending of any motion picture ever!"
