Well, I went to the Neil Innes show last night, and what an amazing night it was --
He did sing "Brave Sir Robin Ran Away" from "Holy Grail", along with lots of other bizarro Bonzo/Rutle stuff, as well as new material.
After the show he was absolutely chatty about Python and The Beatles & friendly. I got 9 things signed & a photo of him hugging me, me in my Firesign Theatre custom vest.
It's so wonderful when those one admires take the time to really talk to their fans, and not just be perfunctory. We spoke at length about ROBOCHIC (See Andrew's review on this site!!) & I cracked him up. It's always fun to make a funny-man laugh!!
All in all a perfect celebrity encounter --
