Oh f**k! Let's just add a "remakes" section in all the movie stores!

Most of these damn things bomb. I dont know why they keep making them. A Scanners remake is just a stupid idea. Its too bizzare for a large audience and making it more accessable will destroy what was attractive about it in the first place.

They should just do a sequel already, that isn't just a rehash. What I'm saying is, from what I've seen of the sequels, they're just rehashes anyway, so it's as if it's already been remade a bunch of times. I'd love to see what happens AFTER the big showdown where the good scanners beat the bad scanners, I don't buy the end of the first movie as the hero merely maintaing the status quo to be threatened in the same way in the next movie.
