There have been so many tough decisions in the world: whether to charge into a battle that is nigh on impossible or to flee to safety and lose, world leaders deciding the fate of history with decisions of peace or war.

And then you have my difficult decision.

Okay, so I have been placed in a rather awkward situation: my local video store is selling second hand dvds cheap, and looking amongst them I only found two I would want, and they have a special deal for three.  But then my eyes fall onto a copy of Gigli and I wonder whether I should step over the line that every B-movie fan has of going from the realm of 'this movie is crappy, b-grade but absolutley fantastic' to 'this movie is crappy'.

Am I foolish to be tempted into buying this movie [which I haven't seen] purely based on the fact that it is infamously horrible?  I am so extremely tempted just to buy it for the whole "yeah that's right, I have a copy of Gigli, do you think I care what you think?" type of angle.

But then I think that since I already have many Bad movies [both bad good and bad bad] that by purchasing Gigli, I will have disrupted the tender balance between alternative tastes to just plain bad tastes, and will forever drag my name through the mud as the only guy in my state who has a copy of Gigli [ok so that last bits a bit of an exaggeration, but do you think I care what you think?!]

So to purchase or not to purchase is the question, what would you do?

I'm sure some of you would have been placed in a similar situation in which you need to make a decision that is of such conflict that you just don't know what to do.

Well, look at it this way--do you want to line the wallets of JLo and Ben, or do you want to continue your seach and spend your hard-earned cash on a second-hand copy of It's Alive?

Myself? I wouldn't own a copy of Gigli if it was free. I saw it months ago on Starz and was p**sed that I wasted the time to watch it. I like bad movies just as much as anyone else but I mean the "so bad it's good" kind...not crap like this. See if you can find something else to add to those other 2 instead, you'll be glad you did.

But now you can brag that you are one of the ten people who saw this movie ( :
