Las Vegas Serial Killer (1987)
*Note: Although most sites list the year of this movie as 1986, the date in the opening credits is 1987.
LAS VEGAS SERIAL KILLER (A.K.A. Ray Dennis Steckler strikes again) is somehow supposed to be about a serial killer named Johnathan Klick who has been in prison for six years, but is released on a technicality and continues his killing spree. To deepen the plot (huh) there are two purse snatchers who wander aimlessly through the movie commenting on peoples legs. Apparently Steckler felt that he could really 'Cash' in with this (okay.....I couldn't resist).
In describing LAS VEGAS SERIAL KILLER, 'movie' is a description this does not deserve and far from earns. Steckler has presented us with a lot of tourist video shot around Las Vegas interspersed with occasional, poorly shot scenes of bad actors. The additional sets consist of a motel room, a brick wall, and a pool party. It also appears as though all voices were dubbed after the fact.
LAS VEGAS SERIAL KILLER is simply a poor joke from someone who had too much time on his hands and tried to pawn this thing off as entertainment. This is something that anybody with a video camera for the first time could do just as well or better completely improvised. I kid you not.
LAS VEGAS SERIAL KILLER runs for an amazingly boring 73 minutes and contains some topless nudity. It is unfortunately available at a highway robbery price from Sinister Cinema on VHS.
