Hello friends here at Badmovies.org. Just got the 50 Movie pack of classic horror films from my fiance for my birthday last Wed. I have to tell you, this collection is fantastic, and I haven't been able to go a night without a viewing or 2 of some of the many classic films on this set. What I couldn't figure out though, is why Metropolis was on this, considering that it is a sci fi hit. And some of the films didn't exactly qualify as being from the genre of classic horror. But regardless , it is still a great set for those of you, who really get an enjoyment out of the older horrors that we all grew up on (and yes that means minus the gore and the language that unfortunately we see in too many of todays slashers.) I really give this set a thumbs up, and really recommend it to all of you.

I have the same set and although there is a plethora of flicks, the quality is usually awful.  Such is the sad case with Metropolis.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

It's not what you say, it's how you say it.

I have the set too and it's watchable for the price.  If you want quality though, you're probably better off going with a single disc release from one of the majors.  The ONLY way to watch METROPOLIS for example is the Kino restored edition.  It's like watching a completely different movie.
